Hello people so I've used a shavettes since my teens and a double edge razor since say 2016 roughly,
Recently tried out single edge razors like the yaqi katana and the twig
Now I know hardly anything about AC Razors/Razor Blades
So yea which AC razors are good for a noob like it?
Also what AC Razor Blades are good too?
I do appreciate blades can be subjective
Thanks saj

When using your Shavettes do you use AC blades ? ,If not a good starter might be a Feather Pro. For a Razor go for the inexpensive [usually available] RazoRock Hawk V2 with a heavier handle.

Most of your queries have been answered on another forum. I did suggest an affordable/available Razor as suitable for a beginner, rather than costlier and probably unavailable ones [ ie Vector and General ].

Affordable and very good razor: RazoRock Hawk
Personal opinion on blades: Schick Pro-line P, Kai mild (pink) and Feather Pro, in this order

did a search couldnt find anything before anyone screws....
i wanted to ask is an ac razor sayfor example the razorock hawk v2 with the feather super professional ac blade more sharper and aggressive then say a muhle r41 with a feather de blade?
i know it could be down to personal preference and YMMV but was wanting to hear thoughts of anyone whos tried both
i havent tried an ac razor so really want to try them out and being a head shaver i like the fact its got a bit of a wider head so has more coverage

I think someone on another Forum has said that you cannot really compare AC/SE and DE Razors. You really should try an AC Razor and you will see there is no comparison. Though I did use DE for a few years, I much prefer AC/SE and have not used a DE for 2 years. However, many people trying AC out find that they are not keen.

AC SE shaving is great. Granted, I only have a Hawk V3, but it is so smooth. I really like the stiffness of AC blades. Completely different world from even a rigidly clamped or extremely bent DE blade.
